It all started with a pair of shoes, and a sale. Isn’t that often how the best online shopping starts?! I was in search of a new pair of neutral flats, and found the perfect pair at J Crew Factory. It just so happened that everything was 50% off that weekend, so of course I had to take a look at what else they had to offer! This wrap front shirt will be the perfect transitional piece as the weather starts to warm up. It comes in three colors and is currently on sale for just $16.50!
I love the color, the lightweight fabric, and tie front detail on this wrap front shirt. I did use a small safety pin to make sure that the top stays closed as I often do so for styles like this. To me, that’s easier than worrying all day about a wardrobe malfunction! The sleeve is in between a 3/4 and a full sleeve, which works for me. It’s long enough to keep you warm on a brisk day, but not so long that it gets in the way.
When I put the shirt on, I knew it had the perfect neckline to show off my Bauble Bar necklace. I styled the necklace in this post also, but I knew it would be better suited for a deeper v neck like the one on this wrap front shirt.
I chose distressed jeans and booties to balance out the femininity of the shirt and the necklace. For a warmer day, denim shorts and flip flops would be cute. I’d also wear this with a floral skirt and wedges to a bridal or baby shower.
I’ll be sharing some other J Crew Factory finds in the upcoming weeks. It turns out that the shoes are a bit tight and so I need to run to the store and exchange them. Who knows what else I’ll find when I’m there! 😉
