Weekend and Cyber Monday Deals

It’s rainy here today, so I’m glad we got our tree yesterday! Today is the perfect day to be inside, getting ready for the week ahead. This is a warm storm, though, as you can tell by the way we were dressed for tree shopping. We have to go up a bit in elevation to get to all the tree farms, and in past years that has meant bundling up with gloves and hats. OK fine, that’s not really bundling up for those of you who get a real winter, but that’s about a much as we need around here! Yesterday, though, the high was 80 degrees and it broke a record! It was a bit breezy at the tree farm, but my cardigan was enough to keep me warm and cozy.

It was warm on Thanksgiving Day too, so I didn’t want to overdress. Plus with the oven running for several hours, it was balmy inside our house. I wanted to wear something that looked appropriate for the time of year, so I went with a striped sweatshirt dress from Athleta. I paired it with cute flats to dress it up a bit, but it would also be great with Converse for running around town.
