These days when the weather is neither hot nor cold, I find myself reaching for a basic white tee because it’s such a simple way to look pulled together. I love the crisp and clean look of white, and I usually invest in a new one (or two!!) every year. Today I’m sharing a three ways to style a basic white tee.
1. With jeans
A white tee paired with your favorite pair of jeans and tennies is such a simple but classic look. I have long been a fan of Converse, and when I stumbled across the Shoreline, a slip on version, I was hooked. They are so easy to slip on when you are running out the door! I usually buy a new pair each year during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because they are my most worn shoes.
With a quick change of shoes and the addition of a fun bracelet, this look is easily transformed and ready for lunch or dinner with friends!

2. With a maxi skirt
This is a fun look for a shower, party, dinner out, etc. I love this skirt because you can toss it in your suitcase for a trip and no one can tell if it’s wrinkled when you get there! It’s a couple of years old but thankfully I found a very similar one that is equally wrinkle proof. 😉
I styled this outfit with wedges and a fun necklace for a dressier look, but you could easily switch to flip flops for running around town.

3. Under a blazer
Isn’t it amazing how the addition of a blazer takes this basic white tee up a notch? The nice thing about a black and white color palette is that you can add literally anything to it! My necklace is a simple gold delicate piece, but a colored statement necklace like this red one would be fun too. I would also wear this tee and blazer with jeans and strappy sandals for date night!
