I don’t know about you, but evening out the skin tone under my eyes is probably my biggest makeup challenge. It’s very difficult to conceal dark circles in a way that looks natural. Concealer sinks into my under-eye creases after the first couple of hours of wear, which is unattractive. And on days when I’m struggling with puffiness? Forget it. Needless to say, when VIIcode contacted me to ask if I would like to try the VIIcode oxygen eye mask for dark circles, I jumped at the chance!
The VIIcode oxygen eye mask is an 8-hour overnight treatment, which is different from other sheet masks. Sheet masks are face-shaped fabrics soaked in nutrition-packed solution called serum. The VIIcode masks are made of a gel-like material, which I found to be quite soothing. They were a little cold when I first put them on, but I quickly adjusted. If you are uncomfortable wearing them overnight, you can wear them for 2-4 hours in the daytime instead. I’m imagining how refreshing the masks would feel on a hot summer night! It basically feels like getting a mini facial every time you put the masks on.
Each box comes with 6 packets and you use these eye masks 2-3 times per week. Their website says that a full treatment would typically consist of three boxes. After using one box, I felt that my dark circles had started to lighten and were visibly smaller. Before I used the masks, my dark circles extended down toward my cheekbone, and that wasn’t the case after using the masks. Plus, the skin under my eyes feels softer and refreshed.
I would like to use the VIIcode oxygen eye mask every few months as part of my regular beauty routine. If you’d like to try the masks for yourself, you can purchase them on Amazon or directly through the VIIcode website.
