Guys. This striped t shirt dress is normally $26.99 at Old Navy, which is a great price in and of itself. However, it was recently marked down to $20, and currently you can get it for an additional 40% off! Now that’s a good deal! There’s something appealing about throwing on just one item of clothing and looking completely put together. You don’t have to give any thought to coordinating pieces, which is nice when you’re in a rush!
When I bought this striped t shirt dress, I envisioned wearing it with sneakers and a hat to the baseball field. Paired with a denim or field jacket (like the one from this post), it’s the perfect spring outfit! I really like that this dress gives me a shape without being too fitted. If I overdo it on nachos at the game, you won’t be able to tell. 😉 Seriously though, finding a balance between structure and a flattering shape is sometimes tricky. I think this is perfect for my body type, and it’s very comfortable.
We shot these pictures on a very lovely day in the Bay Area and a jacket wasn’t necessary, but that’s not always the case in the spring. A denim jacket like the one I’m holding would be cute with this look, and I’ve linked a couple of my favorites below.
I chose my Converse shorelines for mom life on the go, and because the weather is all over the place lately. It’s 75 today but supposed to be rainy and cold for the rest of the week! Who knows though. When it does warm up again, flat sandals or wedges would also be cute with this dress.
We spent our weekend watching one son play basketball and the other play baseball, and this dress is perfect for all of that! I also plan to wear it to church soon. That’s a lot of versatility for $12! I hope your week is off to a good start!
