I went to the mall this week to check out the spring fashion from Nordstrom. Most of my shopping is done online, simply because of the convenience and time savings. But this week I wanted to go in person to pick up a specific dress that I would like to wear next weekend a getaway with my husband. I knew it wouldn’t come in time if I ordered it, and it was a great excuse to go to the mall! The nice thing about wandering around the store is that you have the opportunity to be inspired. I snapped a few dressing room selfies of my favorite spring fashion from Nordstrom while I was there.
This is the dress that I went in to buy. It comes in many colors, and there is also a long sleeved version. The reviews are excellent and reviewers agree that the ruching is flattering on everyone. I went with the tank version because I can wear it year round. Paired with a long cardigan like the one in the next picture, this outfit will work in almost any season. I’m usually a small but wearing a medium here, and I bet the large would have worked as well.
This cardigan has been in my shopping cart for awhile. It sure is warm! The only reason it didn’t come home with me yesterday is that I am tempted to get the grey instead. It doesn’t have any wool, which is great for me, and I like the length and the pockets. There’s also cute cable knit detailing on the sleeve. This does run big, so I’m wearing an extra small instead of my usual small.
My Trunk Club stylist sent me this shirt in ivory. I like the bell sleeve and ribbed design. I didn’t like how fitted the size small was, so I sent it back. I’m wearing it here in a medium.
Loving the cute sleeve on this sweatshirt from Halogen. It also comes in several colors.
I’ve seen this twist front top from Gibson online, and I couldn’t believe how cozy it is in person! It’s also on sale for $33! It does run a bit large, especially if you have a short torso like I do. I’m normally a small but this is an extra small.
This comes in solid colors as well, but I thought the stripes were fun, and I’m obsessed with the bows in back!
I linked to a similar tie sleeve blazer in this post. That Olivia Moon blazer would be great for work, but this one by Caslon is more casual and perfect for everyday wear. Also, it’s lined with fleece! So cozy and warm.
This t-shirt is another cute, casual piece that comes in a ton of colors.
This sweater was with a bunch of other Americana pieces that seemed perfect for the 4th of July. It’s much too early to be thinking about that, but I do like the classic color combination. I couldn’t find this available on Nordstrom’s website, so I linked directly to the designer.
What do you think of the spring fashion from Nordstrom? Are there any trends you’d like to try?

I really like that black cardigan. What size are you wearing?

Extra small. I usually wear a small but read online that it runs a bit big, so I tried on the extra small and it was great. 🙂
