Let’s be honest. Have you heard of the new pull on jeans trend and wondered why on earth anyone besides a pregnant woman would want to wear them? Yes? Me too. Pull on jeans are popping up in stores everywhere, and not just in the maternity section! I’m not sure if I would have tried this particular trend, but my Stitch Fix stylist sent a pair in my recent package. At $48, I figured they were worth trying!
Much to my surprise, they are actually really lovely and comfortable. Go figure! Ha. The waistband means that you can’t wear the jeans with anything too short, as you wouldn’t necessarily want to show it. However, because the waistband is smooth, you’ll never have a weird bulge under your clothes from your button or zipper because there aren’t any! These jeans are as comfy as leggings but as nice looking as a regular pair of jeans. This particular brand is sold through boutiques as well as Stitch Fix, but I couldn’t find them available for sale online. You can check out the Makers website to see if there’s a boutique in your area, or you can request them from Stitch Fix (sign up here). I’ve linked some other reasonably priced options at the end of the post.
Let’s discuss my shirt. It comes in a ton of different colors, and it was literally $15 from Amazon. It also has 2600 four star reviews! I didn’t have high expectations due to the price, but I think it’s really cute! It is flowy without being shapeless, and the length is perfect. I like that it’s shorter in the front and longer in the back. I can see this working with heels and faux leather leggings from this post for a night out.
Ironically, my booties are more expensive than the jeans and the shirt put together! But hey, since I did so well with the prices of my outfit, that means I can spend the extra on shoes, right?! Oh wait but they are on sale too! You can find my exact booties here (limited sizing) and the identical Vince Camuto style here. The Vince ones are even cheaper and come in more colors. I’m just full of good news today, aren’t I?! You’re welcome. 😉
