I bought mint green jeans on Poshmark a few years ago and wore them all the time. Unfortunately, the stitching around the back pockets has been unraveling pretty much since I got them. Not cute. When I found these jeans on sale at Old Navy, I couldn’t resist! Mint is such a pretty color for spring. The raw hem and distressing at the knee is on trend, and you can’t beat Old Navy’s prices.
This bell sleeve shirt is from JCrew Factory. From afar, it looks like a solid colored chambray shirt, but as you can see, there are tiny while polka dots. I like the length and shape of the shirt. It ends at just the right place and doesn’t have to be tucked in to look neat. I also like the pretty bell sleeves. They add nice volume and visual interest to the otherwise simple shirt. The slightly darker color of the shirt contrasts nicely with the mint green jeans. Even though it’s only a few weeks old, I couldn’t find this on the JCrew Factory website. But luckily, Target has a very similar one that I’ve linked below.
My shoes are also from JCrew Factory. I’ve been looking unsuccessfully for a basic pair of nude flats for a long time. I wanted to move away from the rounded ballet toe that so many of my other flats have. The pointy toe on these is quite pretty, and the leather is buttery soft. They are available in a few colors, including a beautiful pale grey that is very tempting. Perhaps I’ll pick those up for fall when the time comes. 😉
Saturday was the perfect, relaxing day watching both boys play sports and getting a lot done around the house in between. Easter Sunday didn’t turn out exactly as we had planned. The day was spent helping my parents with some unexpected things that came up. However, we managed to end the day with a lovely Easter dinner thrown together at the last minute. I’m so thankful that we could be there for my parents while also spending time as a family. We leave for a trip to New York City at the end of the week, and the break couldn’t come at a better time!
