I guess I really can’t get more descriptive than this post’s title, can I? Spoiler alert! This post is about a shirt with lemons. 😉 I found this cute lemon shirt while perusing the racks at Banana Republic a couple of weeks ago. The navy background combined with the springy print reeled me in! The shirt is made of polyester, which means it can be fancy if you need it to be. How fun would this be layered under a suit for work?
I paired this with white jeans because I gravitate towards regular blue jeans most of the time and I wanted to mix it up. White jeans are perfect for the transition from spring to summer! My inlaws happened to be in town once when I wore this, and my father in law specifically commented that he liked the shirt. He is typically not one to comment on my clothing choices – perhaps it’s the lemons?! Speaking of my father in law, I just realized that we have no plans for Father’s Day and I haven’t purchased cards for anyone. I should probably get on that…
It was still a little chilly here in the Bay Area when we took these photos. Though you can’t see them, I’m wearing the same blush colored flats as in this post so that my feet would be warm enough. In fact, I think I actually wore a jacket with this outfit the first time I wore it! It was just the right look for my son’s first grade play. 😉
The first week of summer is in full swing and I’m loving the freedom and flexibility! However, I decided it would be a good idea for my youngest to do basketball camp, which means that I’m still getting up early and packing lunch every day. Fail. But it’s been fun to have the one on one time with my older son. And it’s only a half day camp, so we have the afternoons together. Perhaps I should use my free time to come up with a plan for Father’s Day. Send your ideas my way if you have any! Happy Wednesday!
