It’s hard to believe that Christmas is next week! For the first time ever, we will be celebrating Christmas Eve with my husband’s family and Christmas Day with mine. Until recently, they have lived too far apart for us to be able to do this. Naturally, this new arrangement requires multiple holiday outfit ideas!!
I reviewed this inexpensive top from Amazon on my stories last week. You can see the beige colored one styled with jeans in this post. The top is flowy, easy to wear, and will camouflage if you eat too much. š A friend recently asked me where I got the beige one, and when I was finding the link to share with her, I saw this gorgeous red color and had to order it!
My faux leather leggings are perfect with this top to dress it up a bit. The top is long enough to cover my bum, which is my preference when wearing fitted pants like these. The leggings look great with booties (seen here) but I decided to wear heels for a slightly dressier look.
Velvet is trending this season and I don’t think any post on holiday outfit ideas would be complete without at least one velvet item! When shopping for my family photo outfit, I found this velvet wrap top at J.Crew Factory. I love the color, obv.
I know that white jeans may not be a conventional choice for December, but I think it’s fresh and fun. It also allows the blue velvet to really pop! I chose booties to keep the overall look more casual, but a fun sparkly flat like this one would also be cute.
This is probably my favorite of the three outfits. I will likely wear it for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. I also wore it for our date night last night! You know I love stripes and plaid is no different! J.Crew has some of the most beautiful plaid pieces in their holiday collection.Ā This top is sleeveless which I like because I tend to run warm. I’m obsessed with the colors and the cute neckline.
To keep warm, I layered a sweater blazer on top. I also have this in camel and it’s such a great addition to my wardrobe! The pants are regular rise, which I like, but are available in high rise if that’s what you prefer.
What do you usually wear for your holiday celebrations? Will you be dressy or casual? I hope these holiday outfit ideas are helpful!
