Four Must Have Fall Booties

Fashion

25 Sep

must have fall bootiesI love the look of tall boots and I think over the knee boots are so classic and pretty. But let’s be honest. In California, there are just a handful of days each year that are cold enough to actually wear them. Booties, on the other hand, are probably the most versatile shoes that I own. They work almost year round and add a certain level of chic to your outfit. Today I’m sharing a roundup of my must have fall booties.

Neutral Booties

must have fall bootiesThese Jeffrey Campbell booties have been my most worn pair for more than two years. I love the fit, the color, the heel height… you get my drift. This year I’ve been drawn to a more caramel color which adds a certain richness. Either way, you can’t go wrong!

White Booties

I keep trying to tell myself that I don’t really need white booties because they aren’t as wearable as the other options, but I sure do love them every time I see them styled in a photo! They are just so simple and chic. One of my favorite shoes that I ever owned was a pair of basic white ballet flats because they went with literally everything in my closet. I think that white booties would be the same. They are wearable year round but I especially love them for transitional weather in fall and spring.

Black Booties

must have fall bootiesBlack booties are basically as dressy as a heel but a whole lot more comfortable. From date night to the office, black is always a workhorse in my wardrobe.

Statement Booties

must have fall bootiesLeopard, snakeskin, red…  You name it, I’m all in! I had been eyeing leopard booties for a couple of years now but wound up going with snakeskin instead simply because I liked the colors better. I had a hard time picking between the Vince Camuto pair in the photo and these Jeffrey Campbell ones.

Which of these must have fall booties are you shopping for? My black ones are a few years old, and I don’t have white… yet. 😉

Tell me…what kind of socks – if any do you wear with these booties?

Hi! I haven’t worn them a ton but so far I haven’t worn socks. If comfort requires a sock and it’s not too cold, I like these: https://rstyle.me/+fxFz3vHOGB1LYN4K5KluBg. On a cold day, especially if your jeans are shorter like the ones I’m wearing, it’s perfectly acceptable to show a little sock over the top of the bootie.
