You have probably heard me express my disdain for racerback and strapless bras. I don’t know why clothing manufacturers have decided that they should design tank and sleeveless tops with nice wide straps that angle in just enough to show your bra straps in the back. Drives me nuts!! In light of this, I am always on the hunt for cute sleeveless tops that do not have this issue. When I came across this floral tank at Banana Republic, I bought it in multiple sizes and colors because I was so hopeful. It does not disappoint!!
This floral tank also comes in a geometric pattern. It’s pretty, but it is a little corporate looking for my taste and I don’t think I would get as much wear out of it. It’s cute, but I’m not in love. I have learned over the years that if I don’t love something, it’s not worth buying, no matter how good the price! In my opinion, it’s better to have a smaller wardrobe of pieces you adore rather than tons of clothes you won’t wear! And yes, sometimes that means I pay more for those key pieces, but I sure do get my money’s worth!
These cropped jeans are a perfect transitional piece for this constantly fluctuating weather. An added bonus is that they are short enough to show off the ankle strap on my wedges! Priorities. I wasn’t sure how much these wedges would go with because of the color. It turns out that the coral is a fun addition to almost any summer outfit!
My blue necklace is from the Kendra Scott color bar. The pieces in this collection are fully customizable, meaning you can choose any stone you want to go in them! My friend Taylor over at Simply Silicon Valley was kind enough to remind her readers that Kendra Scott offers 50% off any one item during your birthday month. This deal is only redeemable in store, so if you have one nearby, don’t forget to take advantage! This necklace retails for $60 but I paid just $30. I love how it layers with my Stella & Dot initial necklace.
This weekend we don’t have much planned which I always think is excellent! We have some friends coming over for dinner tonight and we plan to use our new fire pit to make s’mores. Besides that, it should be pretty mellow! Have a great weekend!
