It’s hard to imagine that we are flying cross country to 40 degree weather and possible snow when this floral blouse is what I’m currently wearing in California. Prepping for this trip to New York has made me realize how spoiled I am with our amazing weather! Don’t get me wrong, I adore New York City and I can’t wait to spend a few days there. I just prefer 70 degree weather over 40 degree weather. Can you blame me? I actually had to borrow coats for both of my boys because they don’t own any, and I’m not sure that what I own will be warm enough. Wish me luck.
I found this floral blouse at Target for just $18, and it’s currently on clearance for $12.50! It is soft and comfortable, basically a fancy t-shirt. I like the cuffed sleeve, the v neck with the cute button, and the print. I know I will get a lot of wear out of it! Most of my t-shirts are solid colored and it’s nice to mix things up with a cute print.
I’m wearing my Madewell high waisted jeans in basic blue, but this shirt would be darling with colored or white jeans too. I was hoping this shirt would work with my new mint jeans from Monday’s post, but the color wasn’t quite right. My wedges are by Michael Kors, and I’m thrilled that it’s warm enough to start wearing them again! You will likely be seeing them and my Marc Fishers on repeat all summer long.
We fly home from New York on Monday and I am so excited for a week without school! We don’t have any midweek baseball games, which is basically a miracle at this time of year. Our days are usually so full that a few days with nothing scheduled is such a gift. I hope you have a relaxing weekend!
