If you follow me on Facebook, you know that I recently ordered from Stitch Fix. You can watch the whole unboxing video here. It’s been about three months since my last Fix, and I’ve decided that it would be fun to get a new box each season. For spring, I asked for florals! The first thing I saw when I opened the box was this beautiful embroidered blouse. I absolutely love the flower pattern on the sleeves. The colors really pop against the pale ivory fabric. The wide bell sleeve is fun too!
I paired this with high waisted jeans because the top isn’t super long. As someone with a fairly short torso, I like this length! I get tired of the front tuck look, so it’s nice when a shirt looks great without having to do anything to it. I chose my Madewell jeans, but there are so many other pants this top would look beautiful with. Dark jeans would be cute, as would blush colored or cranberry jeans. I would probably stick with a skinny or straight leg jean to balance out the volume on top. This top would be darling with a pencil skirt and pumps for an evening look.
These wedges are several years old, but the nice thing about a nude wedge is that it doesn’t go out of style! I found an almost identical pair at Nordstrom Rack for $40. On a warmer day, a strappy sandal would be great with this outfit. Espadrilles would be cute too, except for the fact that the two colors I have in my closet at the moment don’t work with this outfit. Shopping goals! Ha. I thought about putting on a long pendant necklace, but there’s so much detail on the sleeves that I wanted that to the the focal point of the outfit.
I absolutely love the buttons on the back as well! The pretty details make this blouse worthy of any special occasion. But if you switched out the heels for flats, this would work for daytime too! Nicely done, Stitch Fix. If you do order from Stitch Fix, you are allowed to request certain pieces and your stylist will include them if they are available. Happily, this blouse is sold at Nordstrom too, so I’ve linked it there below.
