Guys, there’s a chance of rain here today and tomorrow! Could it be that fall has actually arrived?! My kids have fall break this week and there have been years in which we’ve gone to the beach during fall break, so I’m not holding my breath that the last of the hot weather is behind us. This colorblock sweater was all over social media during the Nordstrom sale. I didn’t order it right away, but when I finally did, I knew it was a keeper! For starters, it’s so warm! It’s acrylic and nylon, which is a win for me because so many warm sweaters have wool and I’m allergic to wool. So when I find a sweater that is cozy and lacks wool, I’m all over it! The sizing for this exact sweater is a bit limited at the moment, so I’ve included a couple other similar options below.
My favorite feature of this sweater, besides how soft it is, is the colors. I paired it with my pink Converse today, but it would work with so many shoes, really. On a colder day, I would opt for these booties from this post just so I could add socks!

My dad is currently here for a few days and my husband and older son got back last night from their Mt. Whitney trip. It was a very quiet few days with just my seven year old, but I’m glad to have everyone together now. My dad will be here until Wednesday and then we may head out of town for a night at the end of the week since the boys are off school. I hope your week is off to a great start!
