I first came across the clear purse trend when shopping online. I found this gorgeous bag at Shopbop, but couldn’t commit to the price, even during their sale a couple months back. When I found this cutie at Nordstrom for a fraction of the price, I couldn’t resist! Such a good use of $40.
Since I started carrying this bag, I have had no fewer than six people stop and ask where I got it. Apparently, many sporting venues are starting to restrict what you can bring inside, and a clear purse like this one is both compliant and functional! Who knew. I should add in a disclaimer that I did not research the rules on this, so you should probably do that if you plan to buy this bag for that purpose. 😉
I personally got this bag because one, it’s a fun trend, and two, it will be so perfect for our trip to Hawaii later this month! It flattens nicely to stick in a suitcase. Covered with sand from the beach? No problem. Hose that baby right off!
Generally speaking I tend to use one purse for several months at a time which can feel a bit boring. It’s a pain and time consuming to switch out all your stuff every time you want to trade. Enter the purse organizer. Friends, this has been life changing. All of my stuff fits in to an organizer and I literally just have to lift it out and put it in another bag when I want to switch. I do have a separate little bag for my lipsticks (the black one), but still, so easy!! Why didn’t I do this years ago?!
My clear purse came with its own organizer (rear) which is awesome. I’m sure you don’t really want anyone looking at the contents of your purse when you carry it. I had actually purchased a different organizer (front) prior to getting this bag, and I love it too! It’s leather and the quality is amazing. There are a couple of pockets as well as a removable pouch. It’s also more structured than the one that came with the clear bag, which I like. I chose the ivory but it comes in many beautiful colors! I’ve been using it for about six months and it’s a game changer.
