Banana Republic has long been one of my favorite retailers. When I practiced law, the majority of my work wardrobe came from Banana Republic. Their clothes fit me well, the pants are long enough, and the sales are great! I recently placed an order and am sharing my favorite Banana Republic spring picks. Each of these pieces would be perfect to help transition your wardrobe to spring!
Varsity Stripe Sweater
We had gorgeous weather last week, but this week the intermittent rain is back and the temperatures are lower. I love this sweater because it’s cotton, so it works on a warmer day. You can also later it over a basic tee or tank to provide extra warmth for the chilly mornings. It would be so cute with cut offs at the beach!
Cropped Utility Jacket
I’ve worn my longer Old Navy field jacket quite a bit, so when I came across this shorter one in a light color, I knew it would be perfect for spring! I love the gathered hemline and the cute pockets on the front. It definitely isn’t a winter jacket, but is perfect for this in between weather!
Striped Tank Top
Are you sensing a theme with the stripes?! They are just so classic and versatile. This tank is great quality, has a flattering cut, and comes in two colors. The material is super soft and I think I’ll get a ton of wear out of it the next few months. It looks adorable on its own or layered under the utility jacket.
Short Sleeved Sweater
Although this particular item of clothing doesn’t have a super long shelf life, I love how it takes a basic look and elevates it! It is dressier than a cotton tee and also work appropriate. I wore this for a meeting last week – it’s always a good sign when I reach for a new piece just a couple of days after it comes!
Metallic Slides
These cute shoes were too good to pass up. I find that Banana makes a quality shoe that is comfortable, stylish, and holds up well. The sole has a bit of padding so they will be comfy for all day wear. I like that there’s a bit of shine but it’s subtle. These will go with any outfit!
